Asheville, NC – Four individuals were arrested by the Asheville Police Department on Wednesday as part of an effort to address ongoing bicycle thefts in the city. According to a press release by the police department, reported losses have exceeded $50,000 in the past several months.
Dakota Edward M Kudlacik has been charged with felony larceny, felony probation violation, and possession of drug paraphernalia. They are being held at the Buncombe County Detention Center under a $15,000 secured bond.
Victor Shane Slack has been charged with felony larceny and possession of drug paraphernalia. They were initially being held at the Buncombe County Detention Center under a $2,000 secured bond. This has since been adjusted to a $500 secured bond. Slack was out on a $5,000 unsecured bond for unrelated extradition charges in March.
Tyler Dane Sherrill has been charged with felony larceny. They were initially being held at the Buncombe County Detention Center under a $2,500 secured bond. This has since been adjusted to a $500 secured bond.
Marc Robert Irvine has been charged with felony larceny. They were initially being held at the Buncombe County Detention Center under a $2,000 secured bond. This has since been adjusted to a $2,000 unsecured bond. Irvine was out on a $1,000 unsecured bond for unrelated March 27th charges of indecent exposure and possession of drug paraphernalia.
According to the police department’s press release, the investigation is ongoing with additional charges expected.
